POD Photos: Franz Ferdinand – The Vic Theatre (4/5)

On April 5th, Franz Ferdinand hit the stage in Chicago at the Vic Theater, giving fans a high-impact performance. Right off the bat, the band gave fans a mix of their feelings, from nostalgic heartthrob songs like “Do You Want To” and “This Fire” to tracks from their newest album, The Human Fear.

Fans expressed high emotion, especially during their nostalgic song “Take Me Out,” for which the band requested that fans put their phones down and be in the present moment. For the longest time, concerts were a place for fans to meet their idols, and Franz Ferdinand made sure to remind fans to dance as if it were their last.

The band is continuing The Human Fear tour across the United States, hitting East Coast states next. If you’re hesitant about attending their show, please give yourself time to reflect on how impactful the band has been in shaping the early 2000s scene and the overall music industry.
