Japanese Breakfast are back! The band’s fourth album will be entitled For Melancholy Brunettes (& sad women) and it will arrive on March 21. With Grammy winner Blake Mills as its producer and tracked the iconic Sound City in LA, an interesting fact about this album is that it is actually the band’s first proper studio release, as the trio of albums that preceded it were recorded in warehouses, trailers and lofts.
The announcement of a new Japanese Breakfast album not only brings lead single “Orlando in Love,” but we’re also getting 2025 tour dates in support of the album.The tour will see Michelle Zauner and company hitting headline shows and festival stops across the United States, Canada, the UK and Europe.
