Although 24-year-old Tommy Richman may have skyrocketed into the mainstream in the blink of an eye, the Virginia-bred artist has been grinding away at his craft for the better part of a decade and is undoubtedly seeing his dream come to fruition.
Tommy has garnered some serious live performance experience via his opening spot on Brent Faiyaz’s ‘F*ck The World’ and it was clear that his show on Sunday night at Chop Shop was far from his first rodeo.
An engaged and energetic crowd enjoyed nearly 15 eclectic tracks that highlighted his deep discography as a whole. Both OG and newer fans were treated to a wonderful evening of feel-good sonics and lighthearted energy. We were lucky enough to be in the house for one of the four dates on this ‘BEFORE THE DESERT’ tour and I’d highly recommend anybody in Los Angeles heads to the Roxy tomorrow on Wednesday night for the final show on this tour.
