On The Radar hosted by Gabe P has been crushing it for quite some time now and yesterday’s release of “The Mischievous Cypher” is one of my favorite drops as the artists and production perfectly worked together. Curated by Denzel Curry, this was the first blacklight cypher to hit On The Radar’s socials and I’m positive it won’t be the last.
This unbelievably dope cypher featuring Denzel Curry, FERG, TiaCorine, Key Nyata, PlayThatBoiZay, as well as a cameo from one of New York’s finest in Kirk Knight, was bursting with energy and playfulness, making this an absolutely addicting watch. TiaCorine has been one of my favorites this last year ever since her breakout album I Can’t Wait was unleashed and she took full advantage of this dope opportunity as her swagger flew through the mic. Denzel and FERG are seasoned vets who are doing their part in effortlessly passing the torch to the new generation of hip-hop. I’m not personally familiar with Key Nyata but PlayThatBoiZay has been featured on multiple Denzel tracks and I’m excited to see how both of their journeys continue to progress into the future.
