This Thursday an incredibly eclectic lineup of R&B up-and-comers are performing at Logan Square’s The Burlington. This event, co-produced by some incredible Chicago based independent companies, will surely be an unforgettable one.
Leading the charge, headliner LaSalle Grandeur is on the cusp of releasing a new project titled, ‘a ghost of self,’ coming off the release of dynamic single, “MADNESS! (alone version).” LaSa has for good reason made a name for himself in Chicago, receiving co-signs from some of the biggest names in the city.
I was first made aware of Gio Genesis from his feature on Kayo’s ‘It Was Fun While It Lasted’ and was instantly blown away by his vocal talent. His sweet-sounding melodies will certainly make for a great live show, additionally he is set to grace the Chicago stage for the very first time.
Hailing from Texas but now calling Chicago home, singer-songwriter Piwa is an incredibly catchy and electric singer that defies categorization. Piwa’s newest single, “ASTRO ” showcases her rapping and singing alongside this killer breakbeat. Piwa’s style ensures a live show that’s nothing short of extraordinary.
Morgan Gold, a gifted guitarist and producer, rounds out this eclectic lineup. Drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical influences, Gold weaves elements of R&B and pop into her distinctive musical catalog.
Alongside all these wonderful artists there will be live art installations and DJ sets from DJ Rxmii and DJ SPCY Mike throughout the night.
