The Third, Chicago-based rapper and poet, has released “HAROLDS DATE,” a fun and smooth Chicago love song that tells the story of a date at the iconic takeout joint.
“HAROLDS DATE” is both comical and sincere in many ways that only those who have been to a Harold’s can understand, including references to their wait times and the ongoing debate of its prime location.
In the rollout of this single The Third creatively took to his fans to decide Harold’s best location via Instagram stories, while also revealing his go-to order, a six-piece with mild sauce lemon pepper, salt and pepper.
The track was released alongside visuals from Beauty Beyond The Lens seemingly filmed at the Harold’s on 75th (and definitely not the one on Wabash).
This track from The Third is dope as always, further solidifying his place as one of the city’s best.
