Chicago’s Queen Key has shared a new five-track EP today titled, ‘Surviving Queen Key.’
It’s been nearly two years since we’ve last received a project from Queen Key with her 2021 album ‘Your Highness 3.’ This project is also her first independent project since 2017, marking a new era in her artistic journey.
Each of the five tracks on this project are incredibly unique both sonically and conceptually. Tracks range from drill, trap and conscious while doing a great job of exploring each soundscape.
The production on the project is largely handled by Yung Bala On Da Beat with HearOnTrackz handing the outro, shoutout to both of them.
Queen Key is set to perform with 38 Spesh and Nia Kay at The Promontory next Friday April 28th, tickets are available here.
