Today, my new favorite band, Gal Pal are sharing the second single off their upcoming album This and Other Gestures. As described in a press release about the new song, “Takes Time” is a ‘song about change really, how it’s inevitable and how empowering it can be to lean into that.’
Ashley Kron is the director and editor behind the music video, which plays like an homage to artsy and trippy visuals from the VHS and Grunge era. Very fitting for the beautiful noise the band creates on “Takes Time.”
This and Other Gestures, the band’s first in 6 years, will arrive on June 2.
