South Side Chicago artist AUSAR has released new single “DON’T DATE RAPPERS,” the first single off his upcoming debut album.
AUSAR has been dropping incredibly dope and thought-provoking hits since he dropped his first EP, now nearly six years later, we’re finally getting a taste of what his debut record will behold.
“DON’T DATE RAPPERS ” details AUSAR’s experience with romantic interests and their engrossment in his persona or future success rather than him as an individual.
In a statement about the track AUSAR wrote, “This song is about coming to grips with the life I’m creating or trying to create for myself and how it’s caused [some] people to view me as an object of conquest.”
The track itself is very upbeat and anthemic, reinforced by the production from the 3X RIAA Certified Platinum Producer Gold Haze.
AUSAR has also released a “Don’t Date Rappers” Trucker Hat in tandem with the release of this single, which can be available for purchase here.
Us at Pursuit of Dopeness love this one and can’t wait for the album!
