House of Vans Chicago is presenting The Family Affair, an art show reception curated by MC and promoter Rich Jones alongside Nick Hennessy, half of the legendary Chicago duo, The O’My’s.
Yesterday Rich and Nick hosted an event called “Glue N’ Sip,” a wheat paste workshop. The art created by attendees of that event will be featured in this reception alongside countless other talented Chicago street artist’s work. Those names include Fonté, Serk, Austy, Fantasía Ariel, Won Kim, Jeff Pak, Le Panther, Gemologist and Lajuana Lampkins.
The event will also feature live performances including DJ Fess Grandiose, ICEFACE, ORISUN plus Rich Jones and The O’My’s respectively. Goose Island Beer Company will be sponsoring the event as always so stop in for some brews if anything!
Doors are at 6PM and the event will run until 10PM. RSVP is also required and there is a limit to two tickets per person, you can RSVP for The Family Affair: Art Show Reception here!
House of Vans will be hosting an open gallery for the pieces in the reception this Saturday 12/17 and Sunday 12/18. Hours are 6-10PM on Saturday and 2-6PM on Sunday.
