Storefront Church and Phoebe Bridgers have come together for a cover of “Words.” Their cover of the track from Low’s 1994 debut, I Could Live in Hope is being shared as a tribute to Mimi Parker, Low’s drummer and vocalist who sadly passed away in November at the age of 55.
Storefront Church, the project of artist Lukas Frank, said of the tribute track:
“Low’s music has been incredibly useful to me; it’s like an antidote to anxiety, with Mimi’s voice at the heart of it—relieving, cathartic and honest.”
