Zzz. seems to be the next rising star out of Lil Bibby’s Grade A Productions. Grade A is becoming a breeding ground for generational superstars helping launch the careers of both Juice WRLD and The Kid LAROI. Since signing in March, Zzz. has already been spotted in the studio with the likes of Dominic Fike, Lil Durk, Travis Barker, Future, Benny Blanco, and countless other massive names in music.
After releasing his Grade A debut single, “All I Never Wanted” in late October, he made sure he would release new music before the year is over. Zzz. posted a statement on social media about the pack of singles stating, “I Wanted to give u guys 2 new songs before the end of the year. A Gift & A Curse is about the pros and cons of being in my position. Lots of things have changed in my life so quickly and there’s always nights where I sit overthinking bout my life and where it’s headin…”
“A Gift And A Curse” is a two single pack featuring singles, “Mile High” and “How Does It Feel.” As mentioned in his social media post, these tracks reference the advantages and disadvantages of his meteoric rise to stardom. This carries weight especially on track “How Does It Feel,” where he laments about how lonely the top can be, “And the big lights feel lonely I just wanna drop songs tell people what I’m on while keepin lowkey.” Track “Mile High” showcases Zzz.’s vocal range over a more traditional trap beat.
On top of that, Zzz. is debuting a music video in the next few hours to coincide with the single “Mile High” directed by DotComNirvan, which is sure to be a banger.
