Following the release of his collaborative project Big Space Pimpin with the legendary Juicy J, Pi’erre Bourne has been hitting cities across the US lately as part of his massive Good Movie World Tour and we were present for the Chicago date.
Kicking things off was Jelly, who provided the high energy necessary to set the mood for what the night was to become. One of the best moments of his set came with the performance of his popular Pi’erre Bourne-produced joint, “London Cake.” Fellow SossHouse artists Chavo and Sharc were also on the bill.
Chavo had a laid back set but it was all good vibes, especially when his buzzing song, “Michigan.” Sharc came on stage afterwards and shifted gears to get the crowd super hyped again with his super energetic stage presence. A crowd favorite was “Yes Sir,” for which he was standing on the speakers, spraying water, and getting super close to the audience.
Finally, it was Pi’erre’s turn to come out and deliver something that was memorable. His set list served to highlight his recent Good Movie album, but he also played some familiar favorites like “Poof,” “Magnolia,” and “Drunk N Nasty.” The up and coming rapper really had the crowd singing, dancing, and bouncing to all his songs throughout the night, all super happy vibes and dope energy. Loved every moment of it!
