Blood Orange Returns with “Jesus Freak Lighter”

The three-year wait for new music from Blood Orange finally comes to an end today with the release of “Jesus Freak Lighter.” The artist aka Dev Hynes is sharing his first new track since 2019 along with announcing the forthcoming release of an EP called Four Songs.

While Hynes produced and wrote the project, he also tapped Ian Isaiah, Eva Tolkin, and Erika de Casier to collaborate on the EP. Four Songs, cover art shown above, will arrive on September 16 as Blood Orange is almost wrapped up opening for Harry Styles at the iconic Madison Square Garden and it will also mark his first release under his new label RCA Records.
