The artist of the moment, Bad Bunny is sharing today his new music video for Un Verano Sin Tí track “Neverita.” For those of you fellow Latinos that have been around for a while (or if you’re just a fan of Salsa classics), the video will look very familiar to you, as it draws inspiration from key elements and shots of Elvis Crespo’s “Suavemente” music video.
Benito and director Stillz made this tribute to the 1998 original “En honor al mejor video de todos los tiempos” (“In honor of the best video of all time”). Along with their liberal use of green screen graphics that show Bad Bunny and a female dancer in interesting settings including in the ocean with swimming dolphins or on the moon surrounded by palm trees and a planted Puerto Rican flag, the video is also displayed in the old-school 1:1 square dimensions and the video quality is VHS-ready with the quality going no higher than 480p.
