The final day of the fest would go down as my favorite of Lollapalooza 2022. Despite J-Hope having people lined up well before the gates opened, Green Day headlining on the T-Mobile stage still drew a massive crowd that helped celebrate Pop-Punk in a major way.
Billie Joe Armstrong and co. are bonafide Rock Stars now and they own it. From Black Sabbath and KISS covers, to inviting fans onstage to sing with them, this set was fun from start to finish. I wrapped up with a beautiful set from Polo & Pan ending with “Nana” that felt like bliss.
