Saturday was one of my busiest, and it’s the only time I didn’t get to be within closer range of a headliner, which is no surprise when you try to go see J. Cole. The Dreamville leader was stellar, demonstrating why he’s one of the game’s biggest artists. The last time he headlined it was just decent, but this time around, he looked like he was out to prove something to this crowd. Loved that the brought out JID and Bas too.
Audrey Nuna proved to be a great choice for my Dope Dozen, and I loved the energy that Cochise brought to the stage (those moshpits were great).
The thing I can say now, is that IDLES was my favorite artist of the festival.
