Lollapalooza has entered its final prep stage ahead of opening its doors this summer, revealing today the daily schedule. While we knew that the likes of Metallica, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, and Lil Baby were headlining, now we’ve been given the hard task of mapping out our days and creating our own schedules.
For Thursday, our biggest schedule conflicts are Tove Lo vs. Pi’erre Bourne vs. Manchester Orchestra at 5:15pm and Maxo Kream will bite some time from Jazmin Sullivan in the sub-headlining slot.
For Friday, The Regrettes vs. Genesis Owusu vs. Tinashe will all be on around the same time. On Saturday, the issues start a bit earlier with Alexander 23 and HINDS on opposite ends of the park but in the same time slots, an issue that repeats itself with Willow getting that coveted headlining spot but it just so happens to happen at the same hour as J. Cole will be closing things out at the T-Mobile stage.
On the final day of the festival you have Erica Banks, Teezo Touchdown, and Audrey Nuna’s sets overlapping with each other. The most difficult schedule conflict of the fest for us comes with The Marías, Kennyhoopla, and Peter Cottontale all playing around the same time. Then there’s also Charli XCX, Young Nudy, and Beach Bunny all playing at, literally, the same time. Immediately after that Local Natives, Pinkpantheress, and Jane’s Addiction will all be playing until the same stop time. For the headliners, this is where Lolla seriously screwed us, with all of the headliners being artists that we would’ve wanted to see playing for their entire sets: Doja Cat, Polo & Pan, and Denzel Curry all being onstage by 9pm. Fortunately, Green Day will be playing a bit earlier.
