Ravyn Lenae is on album mode now! The Chicago artist is officially announcing today that her debut album will be called Hypnos and it will arrive May 26 via Atlantic.
The long-anticipated announcement is also bringing a new Sango-produced track entitled “M.I.A.” The song’s production combines chill Afrobeat sounds with a lo-fi aesthetic, which goes so well with Ravyn’s breathy vocals. It’s different from what I traditionally think of a Ravyn Lenae track, which could be a sign that this young artist has been really dedicated herself to exploring and figuring out her sound for the new album.
