Yo…. Calumet Park is hosting a music fest! Yup, the defining park of the southeast side of Chicago will be welcoming a fine collection of Reggaeton stars thanks to the Mas Flow Fest.
The headliner slots go to Zion & Lennox, Don Omar, Manuel Turizo, and CNCO. Other artists you may recognize include Ivy Queen, Tito el Bambino, Guaynaa, Lenny Tavarez, Nina Sky, and more.
Labeled “Chicago’s official Reggaeton fest” by its producers, Grass Root Events, Mas Flow will feature a women’s oasis, an adult playground, food, vendors, and more to complement the performances from the 40+ artists playing the lakefront park this coming July 15-17.
As a guy that was raised in the South Chicago and East Side neighborhoods, I’m pretty shocked that this is being done in our area of the city, but I’m hopeful for its success to see this fest and more events like this to continue serving the area for years to come.
