Foo Fighters are getting into the movie game. The Rock Gods are releasing today the first official trailer for their new horror comedy film STUDIO 666.
Based upon a story by the leader of the pack, Dave Grohl, with BJ McDonnell tapped as the director, STUDIO 666 follows the band move into an Encino, CA mansion with Rock & Roll pedigree to record their 10th studio album. Before you know it, supernatural elements take over and chaos ensues. Don’t expect Oscar-winning acting performances here, but it sure as hell looks like it’ll be fun and that’s all I’m asking for.
The movie will star band members Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and Grohl. The star power doesn’t end there, with Lionel Richie, Slayer’s Kerry King, Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, Leslie Grossman and Jeff Garlin all featuring alongside the Foos.
STUDIO 666 will hit theaters on February 25, 2022. Tickets on sale now: http://foofighters.co/Studio666Tickets
