It’s fest lineup reveal season, and just two weeks in, Coachella 2022 is already looking the festival to beat this year. The headliners closing both April weekends in Indio, CA are Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and the artist formerly known as Kanye West, Ye.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will take place once more over two weekends, April 15-17 and 22-24. This lineup is absolutely stacked with dope artists like Doja Cat, Lil Baby, Phoebe Bridgers, Baby Keem, Flume, Megan Thee Stallion, Disclosure, 21 Savage, Giveon, Run The Jewels, Karol G, Maggie Rogers, Ari Lennox all featuring on the second line of the daily lineups. Y’all know I don’t mess with banda like that, but I have to give props to Goldenvoice for recognizing the Latin presence in the Cali fest by including Grupo Firme and Banda MS so high up on the lineups, too.
Some of my other favorites playing Coachella 2022 are BROCKHAMPTON, Isaiah Rashad, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Snoh Aalegra, City Girls. Pink Sweat$, Omar Apollo, IDLES, the Marias, slowthai, BADBADNOTGOOD, the Avalanches, Cuco, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Steve Lacy, Arlo Parks, Japanese Breakfast, Beach Bunny, black midi, J.I.D., Jessie Reyez, Denzel Curry, FINNEAS, Vince Staples, Duck Sauce, Chicano Batman, Maxo Kream, Channel Tres, and Crumb… to name a few.
