Chicago’s own Serena Isioma is in the middle of their tour, and our team was fortunate enough to be present for the hometown show.
Lincoln Hall has long been one of our favorite venues because of the unique energy that is generated from how close fans and performers can get in this intimate room, and Isioma’s show on September 29 felt like something special.
There were a lot of great, standout moments throughout the night. Some of our favorites included the crowd’s passionate reception to their renditions of “Sensitive” and “Cookout,” the way Isioma made their fans fall in love while performing “Valentine,” and even treating those in attendance to performances of songs from their upcoming album.
