J. Cole, 21 Savage, and Morray hit the United Center for their Chicago stop off Cole’s ‘The Off-Season Tour’. They’re halfway through their country-wide stadium run but the momentum is pushing on with full force as they head to Houston next to continue checking off dates.
Simply put, 21 Savage shut down the UC. Tracks such as “Rockstar”, “Savage Mode”, and “X” turned the crowd up quickly; it’s tough to get a full stadium crowd jumping early in the evening but 21 did just that within his first couple cuts. He even treated the Chicago crowd to a quick set from one of Chicago’s best, G Herbo. Herbo and 21 looked like they were having a dope time together and it was awesome to see Chicago show lots of love to both of them.
Druski was in the building to provide some laughs in between the two headliners.
J. Cole then came out for a powerful set that showcased his raw abilities as a vocalist. As he rolled through a dope setlist fit with tracks that touched all across his vast discography, Cole interacted and controlled the massive crowd with ease. Bas was around to perform some tracks and he agreed when Cole said Chicago “might be one of the best crowds on tour.” For some, it was their first concert experience and all of the top-tier performances provided a night to remember for those individuals in particular.
