Riot Fest ’21 kicked off on Thursday with a fantastic treat that took the form of a preview party featuring Joyce Manor, WDRL, Kristeen Young, Alkaline Trio, Patti Smith and Her Band, and Morrissey. This Preview Party provided first-time Riot Fest attendees a look into the die-hard Riot Fest fan base as well as the wonderful festival production that’d be enjoyed all weekend long.
Simply put, the Preview Party was packed. The attendance on Thursday was a dope indication of how active the weekend would turn out to be. To new attendees, their first entrance into the fest was an escape into a world fit with music, attractions, and horribly-addictive carnival concession food.
