What better way to celebrate Chicago than with some of the dopest artists this city has produced? Chicago Fire FC has partnered with Heineken for their “Ten/Eight” event, which will see them take over the iconic local venue Metro for a celebration of the city on the 150th anniversary of The Great Chicago Fire of 1871 (and the Club’s own founding in 1997).
Headlined by long-time POD favorite Saba, the event has now added Knox Fortune, DJ King Marie, and DJ Step (who’s the club’s official DJ).
Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. The event is 18+ and it will be FREE (!) with an RSVP [suggested $20 donation to the Chicago Fire Foundation will be accepted at the door]. Tickets are now available via metrochicago.com.
“Ten/Eight: A Night at the Metro with Chicago Fire FC in partnership with Heineken” is part of the Club’s week-long series of events marking the official launch of the new crest (this one, we like!), “A Celebration for All Chicago.” Get more info on the “A Celebration for All Chicago” events here.
