Tom Morello. Eddie Vedder. Bruce Springsteen…. Together, covering AC/DC. Sounds like a funky sequence of words, but it’s true, thanks to the Rage Against the Machine’s guitarist newly-announced covers album The Atlas Underground Fire, which will be released on October 15 via Mom + Pop.
On this new cover version, the classic tune gets amplified to an even greater arena sound, with more sharp edges on the guitar riff and the vocals sounding meaner than the late Bon Scott’s more playfully mischievous delivery on the original.
The Atlas Underground Fire will see Morello collaborating with the likes of Phantogram, Damian Marley, Mike Posner, and more.
