J. Cole is back and he’s on album mode. Less than an hour after he teased the news to come with a tweet, J. Cole has announced today that his highly anticipated sixth studio album will be entitled The Off-Season and it will arrive on May 14, 2021.
The cover art, shown above, along with the title mark the return to placing Cole in a sporting setting (and more specifically, basketball) as was seen in previous projects like 2011’s Cole World: The Sideline Story and 2009’s The Warm Up.
Cole also shared across social media that “this was years in the making,” so you better believe he’s got something dope planned.
