NYC music festival Governors Ball is turning 10 this year and to celebrate that anniversary (and to make up for lost time due to the pandemic), they’re giving fans a chance to see Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, J Balvin, and Post Malone as the 2021 headliners. They’re not the top-billing artists originally planned for 2020, but they’re dope in their own right.
The rest of the lineup is also the kind of reward festival goers would want to get after more than a year without major concerts, with the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Phoebe Bridgers, DaBaby, 21 Savage, Young Thug, and Burna Boy all listed as sub-headliners. Other dope artists to look out for at this fest are Leon Bridges, Portugal. The Man, Future Islands, Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist, Earthgang, Pink Sweat$, King Princess, Dominic Fike, Smino, 100 Gecs, Duck Sauce, and Princess Nokia.
For the 2021 edition of The Governors Ball, the fest is trading its usual summer home of Randall’s Island Park for CITI Field and it will take place the weekend of September 24-26.
