Jorja Smith Announces New Project ‘Be Right Back’ and Shares New Song “Gone”

British singer Jorja Smith has announced her next project, Be Right Back. The 8 tracks, Smith’s first body of work since her 2019 critically-acclaimed debut album Lost & Found, will be delivered May 14th.

With the news comes a new single entitled “Gone,” another track from the project after the March release of “Addicted.” Stream the new track below.

Smith stated via a press release:

There’s something about being able to write about one thing and for it to mean so many different things to others. I love that this song, well any of my songs really, will be interpreted in different ways, depending on the experiences of the people listening. This one is just me asking why people have to be taken from us.
