Ahead of the release of their new album Sweep It Into Space on Friday via Jagjaguwar, Dinosaur Jr. are sharing a new single and music video, “Take It Back.”
The music is a lot lighter than what you’d associate with those lyrics, but the pairing manifests in quite a nice Dinosaur Jr. joint. Its visual was directed by Callum Scott-Dyson and it is made of stop-motion animation and colorful collaged images.
Watch the new Dinosaur Jr. video above.
The band has also announced today their special guests for Camp Fuzz II, their fantasy camp in Big Indian, NY, to take place July 27 – 30. Michael Imperioli, actor and writer, will be performing a live reading from his rock and roll novel The Perfume Burned His Eyes, SNL alum Tim Meadows hosting a stage banter workshop, plus a performance from punk legends Negative Approach.
