As incredible as it may sound, Metallica’s iconic Master of Puppets album is turning 35 this year. To celebrate the anniversary, on the exact date, the band appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform the track off the 1986 album.
Thunderous drums, rapid-fire riffs, and James Hetfield’s raging vocals. It was fantastic. Watch the Metallica appearance above.
Just last month, the group were musical guest for Stephen Colbert thanks to the host’s Super Bowl special for which they played a kick-ass rendition of “Enter Sandman.”
