Chicago’s own KAINA is lending her voice to help us feel a little better, sharing a cover of the classic children’s song “it’s you i like” originally by Mr. Rogers.
The sweet vocals from KAINA deliver the caring and tender vibes of the song made famous on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The Venezuelan/Guatemalan-American singer-songwriter originally shared the song on TikTok, with Sen Morimoto on the omnichord. This takes me back in the best way.

It’s been a rough few weeks, especially with the pandemic. This song by Fred Rogers of Mister Rogers Neighborhood brought me a little peace. The writing of this song is beautiful. Although it’s meant for children, it’s so relevant to us as adults, especially when we are being too hard or critical on ourselves
