I was really excited when I noticed Cleveland-native Kipp Stone had announced he’d be releasing a track produced by one of the greats, Statik Selektah. Kipp Stone is an immensely talented artist that first hit our pages following the release of his music video for “People Be Trash”. Kipp has been working hard alongside the great people over at Closed Sessions and he’s recently released “Manic”, distributed by CS.
Kipp Stone and Statik Selektah created an impressive cut with “Manic”; this track has very high replay value. Dreamy production fit with thick boom-bap drums provides Kipp the perfect opportunity to show off his intricate songwriting talent. He showcases his versatile vocal abilities on this cut; each verse is packed with dense material and the pre-chorus on this track is especially tight.
