Club América are announcing today their new third kit for the 2020-21 season along with its new accompanying clothing line.
The Mexico City club’s third kit by Nike has a white base and features a gorgeous all-over pre-hispanic art design. I was hoping the third jersey they’d come up with would have this artwork since I bought the hoodie that was dropped along with the water-repellent jacket late last year. I’m extremely pleased with the way it came out and I need to get my hands on this one (psst psst, contact me, Nike).
For those of you that may not follow Mexican soccer like that, what makes this 2020-21 collection so special is that it draws inspiration from the “Caballero Águila” goalkeeper top that Memo Ochoa donned over a decade ago.
The new line with this artwork also includes a long sleeve shirt and an anthem jacket. Check out more photos below.
The new apparel is being released to launch the Club América online store: AmeShop.com.mx
