Hayley Williams’ debut album, released this year, is so incredibly dope that it’s actually one of my favorites of 2020. The Paramore singer’s solo run continues with a new EP of stripped-down renditions of cuts from that album, entitled Petals for Armor: Self-Serenades.
Williams is giving us all a first look with “Simmer,” which takes a somber turn with emotive vocals and some fantastic finger-picking. It’s a whole new interpretation from the pulsating and kaleidoscopic production of the original.

The Petals for Armor: Self-Serenades EP, which will include new song “Find Me Here,” will drop December 18th via Atlantic Records, and pre-orders for the limited edition 10-inch vinyl are now available.
