The 2020 Latin GRAMMYs aired tonight and without a doubt, one of the biggest attractions was Bad Bunny’s musical guest appearance. The Reggaeton star did not fail to live up to the hype as he went on to perform “Bichiyal” and “Si Veo a Tu Mamá” from his native Puerto Rico.
For the first track, San Benito can be seen on the Teodoro Moscoso bridge, riding around in a luxury sports car while a crew in ATVs rode in circle around him. The video then cuts to Bad Bunny on a colorful stage, backed by an all-woman band that played “Si Veo a Tu Mamá” on live instruments. The latter is given a Latin Folk meets Doo-Wop retouching, and it plays so well while on display on the award show celebrating the best in Latin music today. If this doesn’t make you miss live music, I don’t want to know how you live.
