Phoebe Bridgers and Maggie Rogers have delivered their cover of the 90s Pop classic, “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls. The duo’s rendition saw the light of day thanks to Bridgers’ promise to cover the track if Trump lost the 2020 presidential election, and she came good on it and added Rogers as the cherry on top.
The track was released on Bandcamp and fans could make a donation to download it, with all proceeds benefitting @fairfightaction, a voting-rights and advocacy organization led by Stacey Abrams.
Phoebe Bridgers and Maggie Rogers did a dope job turning this into an indie-folk delight of a track. Suddenly, I feel way better to be in America.

Update: They weren’t kidding when they said the song would be up for just one day. Peep the re-upload while it’s still available.
