Episode 6 of the Gorillaz Song Machine is arriving today, and it features The Cure’s Robert Smith. The new track is called “Strange Timez” and the virtual band flew to the moon which has Smith’s face projected on it, passing the time until the sun starts to peak through. The Jamie Hewlett-directed video closes out with a shot of the mark the band left behind for all to see the next time they look up into the night sky.

Titled Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez, the project is out on October 23, 2020 with physical releases on standard CD, vinyl and cassette; along with the 17-track Deluxe and Super Deluxe box sets.
With this new track, Gorilla are also announcing Song Machine Live, a global virtual event taking place December 12 and 13, featuring a unique blend of visuals and live Gorillaz performance with songs from Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez.
