Many would argue that mixtape Lil Wayne was the superior version of the New Orleans rapper, and his latest releases can help you decided for yourself. After celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Free Weezy Album
(FWA) by releasing the project on all digital streaming platforms, Weezy is now doing the same for his 2009 classic No Ceilings.
Lil Wayne is releasing today the critically acclaimed mixtape on
all digital streaming platforms via Young Money Records/Republic Records.
The new release is being packaged with new cover art and a bonus track called “Kobe Bryant,” which Lil Wayne performed at this year’s BET Awards to pay his respects to the late basketball legend. But that new addition hardly makes up for the loss of 10 tracks from the mixtape that was released 11 years ago.
