The Strokes have shared a new episode of their pirate radio show that kickstarted around the release of their latest album, The New Abnormal.
This new episode is the first of four in a series in which the band will host the producers of their albums for an informal chat. With special co-host Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live, the group re-connected with Gordon Raphael, who produced their debut EP The Modern Age, their first two records Is This It and Room On Fire while contributing to their third LP First Impressions Of Earth.
Each band member had a different album cover as their Zoom background as they discussed a variety of topics from the first time they met Raphael and what it was like working on the band’s earliest discography, along with remembering what it was like visiting Harvard when Jost was a student there.
