Lollapalooza has released its broadcast schedule for this weekend. The four-day affair taking place tomorrow, Thursday thru Sunday will take place exclusively on YouTube, featuring a mix of classic sets and new live performances.
From the classic sets you’ll be able to catch for #Lolla2020 I want to highlight Run The Jewels (2017), Paul McCartney (2015), and LCD Soundsystem (2016) to kick things off on Day 1. On Friday, I recommend Metallica (2015), Lupe Fiasco (2008), Kehlani (2016), and Chance The Rapper (2017). Day 3, make sure you check out Lorde (2014), Tyler, the Creator (2018), Pearl Jam (2018), and OutKast’s brilliant reunion show (2014). Finally, to close out the festivities, tune in right at 5pm for Yeah Yeah Yeahs (2009), A$AP Rocky (2015), and Arcade Fire (2010).
The special, new performances have plenty to offer too. On Thursday you can see DaniLeigh, Josh Homme of QOTSA, KAINA, a reunited Porno For Pyros, Shoreline Mafia, Monsier Periné, and Yungblud. Friday, the Chicago Bulls Presents segment will offer performances from Polo G, J. Ivy, and Tarrey Torae. On Saturday you can watch Masego, a David Bowie Tribute, White Reaper, Jane’s Addiction, Pink Sweat$, and Vic Mensa. For the final day you’ll be treated to Princess Nokia and Starcrawler.
