Pursuit Of Dopeness finally has merch! This has been a long coming, but summer of 2020 marks the first time that we’re releasing our own line of tee shirts.
As we prep for our online event Dopeness Within this Saturday, June 27, we’re unveiling two new designs. The first is of POD’s new brand icon, the Jaguar, which is available in black or white with the graphic in our signature purple.
The second design is the special Pursuit Of Dopeness x beetlebob collab illustration that was made for Dopeness Within. For these shirts, our Jaguar is transformed to exist in the beetlebob universe. Our Jaguar character is seen dancing beside a shark character on a checkered dancefloor that’s lit up with Chicago stars in the air, a scene inspired by our city’s passionate connection with dance and the municipal symbols with which we all identify. This design is also available in black or white.
The artist also known as Debbie Wong stepped things up a notch for this lookbook, transforming our makeshift models into beetlebob characters as well. Combining POD photography with beetlebob illustrations, the characters step into our world to model the merch but they maintain the flair we find in their’s.
