I’d like to blame it on my age, but truthfully, I’ve always been a sucker for moments like this. Dave Grohl made a surprise appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to show some appreciation to New York nurse that also happens to be a huge fan of his and the Foo Fighters.
Jimmy welcomed on his show T.J. Riley, a New York emergency trauma nurse from Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, to tell his story of not only helping treat patients that have had COVID-19, but also how he and his family had gotten and beaten it.

The performance was part of the #HealthCareHero segment on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. The Life Is Good organization also provided every nurse in Riley’s department with a $10,000 and gift package.
