Grimes has shared her new music video for her track “You’ll Miss me When I’m Not Around.” Beyond the elaborate wardrobe and a fancy sword, the visual keeps things very simple as the singer poses in a room surrounded by green screen background.
The purpose for that last part is that Grimes is inviting fans to use visual and audio footage she’s packaging with this video to create their own videos. As the new works make their way to her, Grimes will then share some of her faves on her social media channels.
She says in the description of the video:
“Because we’re all in lockdown we thought if people are bored and wanna learn new things, we could release the raw components of one of these for anyone who wants to try making stuff using our footage. ???”
