Gerard Way is the latest artist to make use of the coronavirus pandemic to unload some music. To help his fans know of the new tracks, Way took to his socials to give some context to the music he’s sharing.
The cover art above is “a picture of my vocal cords, from when I went to see the ear/nose/throat doc before embarking on this my chem journey, to make sure everything was in order.” The My Chemical Romance lead singer is sharing 4 tracks, called: “Phone It In,” “Welcome to the Hotel,” “Success!,” and “Crate Amp.” They are packaged as Distraction Or Despair, which he explains in his post he’s calling it that because “that seems to be the two things I keep shifting between. Probably a lot of other people too.”
