These are strange times we’re living, but at least we have music to hold us through all of this. Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has shared his cover of a song that’s fitting of the feeling with which we can all sympathize these days.
Billie Joe is now releasing his own take on the classic song “I Think We’re Alone Now,” which first became a hit when it came out in the 60s and again when Tiffany made it her own with an 80s twist. The cover, which was recorded his bedroom, is largely faithful to the original but it could just as well sound like it was a Green Day tune.
