The Internet’s girlfriend, Kehlani, has released a new song for the season of love. The track is entitled “Valentine’s Day (Shameful),” which arrives just a few days after “Konclusions,” her collab with then beau YG.
The song was produced by The Rascals and co-produced by Axel Folie. The timing of that is interesting, to say the least. Not only did the actual Valentine’s Day release of “Konclusions” show the pair express their love for each other (in their respective ways) but the cover art painted a picture of life being rosy, but on this new song Kehlani sings about being very much not in love and broken.
In a now-deleted tweet, Kehlani quote-retweeted a fan’s post saying she was single, and this song sure feels like that’s where things left off.
