If you grew up loving the Foo Fighters from day one, then this announcement is especially meant for you. The band has announced today its 2020 Van Tour, commemorating 25 years since the band came to light by hitting the road to play in the same cities where the first FF shows took place back in 1995.
Beginning April 12 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix AZ, Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel and Pat Smear will be returning to a number of the same spots they played during their debut tour but now doing so in arenas because, as the press release notes “aside from many of those clubs on that 1995 trek having since ceased to exist, squeezing a 2020 FF show into the few that are still around would just be too insane… or would it? Stay tuned for the answer to that question. Or answers…”
Isn’t that cliffhanger exciting? While we stay tuned for that, check below for more of the details that are available now.
