Twin Peaks’ triumphant 2019 tour saw the Chicago group reach a whole new level, and they’re keeping busy in 2020 with the release of a pair of new songs. The two new singles/lyric videos are “Cawfee” and “St. Vulgar St.” and they’re available today digitally and will be released as a limited 7” on February 14th via Grand Jury Music.
The lyric videos feature James Swanberg in a dingy bar doing karaoke to perform the tracks. The music provides a healthy dose of rootsy Rock that the band has been embracing more and more in the last few years. I’ve been obsessed with finding a sound to cling onto, and I think these two songs are exactly what I’ve been needing.
